Sailkote is specially formulated with Dupont Krytox®, an easily applied, environmentally friendly translucent liquid lubricant specifically designed for harsh and competitive environments.
It dries quickly to a hard, smooth, ultra-slick, hydrophobic dry coating that bonds tenaciously to almost any surface. And because Sailkote is a dry lubricant, it will not attract dirt or contaminants and will not transfer to other surfaces, or you.
Sailkote is typically five times as effective, and lasts much longer than wax, oil, or Teflon® based lubricants.
Many Uses and Racing Applications
The following is a guideline for uses of McLube Sailkote for your Kart:
** THOROUGHLY CLEAN THE KART PRIOR TO APPLYING MCLUBE **
(applying McLube to a dirty, greasy kart will just make your grease smoother and provide no benefit at all)
* Front wheel bearings
* Gas and brake pedal pivot points
* Steering shaft bearings
* Throttle cable and housing
* Shift lever
* Rear axel bearings
* Wheel hubs
McLube will help all moving parts turn easier
In addition to acting as a dry lube, McLube Sailkote will help keep your kart clean and prevent oil and dirt from sticking to it.
Spray McLube on the following areas to help in preventive maintenance:
* Radiator
* Motor
* Ignition
* Air box
* Body fairings
* Chassis
* Inside of wheels
* Floor pan
* Gas tank
* Fuel lines
* Back of seat
* Driver suit arms and legs
* DO NOT SPRAY ON BRAKE ROTORS OR PADS!
* It is not recommended to use McLube Sailkote as a chain lube
* DO NOT USE MCLUBE AS A VINYL GRAPHICS CLEANER. Clean your decals first, then apply McLube Sailkote for protection and increased slipperiness.
