Cost of Ownership

Initial Purchase Price

(Based on an 80' luxury yacht valued at $3,000,000)

• A 4 week ownership (10%) in the yacht's Limited Liability Company (LLC) is valued at $330,000

• An initial capital funds/reserve account of $100,000 will be established by the LLC. The capital account fund, closing costs, and upgrades are included as part of the initial investment of $330,000.

• Following a 5-year period of recreational use, the yacht will be sold at market value (unless owners choose to continue the LLC)

• The residual amount netted from the LLC's sale of its assets (yacht and capital account) will be equally distributed to the owners (please see: Compare to Chartering)

First Year Itinerary

South Florida and the Florida Keys: May, June, Nov., Dec.
Bahamas and Caribbean: January, February, March, April
Northeast US Coast: July, August, September, October

Each owner has 28 days (4 weeks) use per year. This allows a guaranteed choice of one week of reserved time in each of the three home port areas on a rotating calendar basis. The remainder of each owner's 28 days, are on a space available, first request basis with 3.5 day minimums.

Requests for changes, trade-days, and alternatives are handled through the YachtWise concierge service. Flexibility is an important part of the YachtWise concierge service.


South Florida and the Florida Keys

Dock at the South Beach Marina, within walking distance of Joe's Stone Crabs, South Beach, and the famous sun, surf, shops, and night life, for which SoBe is famous.

Cruise to Bimini and prowl Hemingway's haunts (approximately 3 hours on your yacht)

Journey to Freeport, Bahamas with its bazaar and casinos (approximately 4 hours)

Explore the intercoastal waterway to Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and beyond while enjoying the sights and architecture along the waterfront

Head south to the Florida Keys for snorkeling and kayaking adventures among Pennekamp Park's reefs


Bahamas and Caribbean

Lose yourself in the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean, snorkeling among nature's spectrum of tropical fish

Moored in a Marina or Yacht Club

Awaken to fresh coffee, fruit and pastries on the aft deck with the morning paper while observing the marina's activities. Head out to the day's choice of water destinations...the cove, a beach, or an off-shore play ground where you explore the coast in a kayak or motorized yacht tender

Enjoy a light lunch onboard before an afternoon of sunning and reading on the top deck followed by snorkeling, then a slow sunset cruise back to the marina

After a few cocktails on deck, watch as the city skyline comes alive; prepare for an evening of dinner and dancing at the town's finest establishments

An evening of nightlife not in the cards? invite guests to join you for an evening cruise along the intercoastal waterway to a dockside restaurant for an elegant dinner

After you have closed the city down for the evening, luxuriate with a final nightcap as you return to the comfort of your yacht's elegant master suite
