We are an independent oil and gas exploration company with a strategic focus on exploring for and developing significant oil and gas reserves in deep, structurally complex formations. Our exploration activities are focused in select areas of the Rocky Mountains, Texas, and the Gulf Coast. Advanced seismic imaging of the structural and stratigraphic complexities common to these regions provides us with the enhanced ability to identify significant oil and gas reserve potential. A number of these projects offer multiple drilling opportunities. To date, the primary focus of the company has been acquiring acreage and data in the Rockies. The assets of Venus Exploration were acquired in May 2004, which adds a Texas and Gulf Coast presence with significant upside potential. Most of our reserves and production are concentrated in the Gulf Coast region, with several high impact prospects commencing drilling in the Rockies by year end 2004. We continue to acquire acreage positions in exploration areas we have identified as having significant oil and gas reserve potential.
Since inception, our activities have been focused on prospect generation, the acquisition of acreage, geological and geophysical analysis, securing partners, and drilling exploration and development wells.
