Dr. Brian Stutz joined our team in the fall of 2003. He has an extensive background in lower extremity biomechanics, sports rehabilitation, and ergonomic assessment. As a chiropractic physician, Dr. Stutz specializes in the treatment of pain in the spine and extremities. He customizes his treatments for each patient, drawing from a list of gentle and effective therapies. When indicated, treatments may include; joint manipulation, customized rehabilitation programs, physical therapy techniques and modalities, gait analysis, and a variety of manual therapy techniques.
Dr. Stutz is also a fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Although he does not directly practice the art of acupuncture, his knowledge of traditional Chinese acupuncture and anatomical acupressure trigger points helps him work closely with Dr. Peter Hanson, in instances when a patient is receiving care from both physicians.
Dr. Stutz has a passion for treating lower extremity pain. As a specialist in custom foot orthotic design, he has helped dozens of patients avoid hip, knee, and foot surgery. Dr. Stutz has designed orthotics for members of the Colorado Avalanche and the US Ski team. |
