How to Use This Course
This process is intended to draw from you exactly what you wantthrough your businessand to assist you in acknowledging and releasing the self-limiting patterns that inhibit your success. Sometimes, coming face to face with limiting patterns, and even your passions and dreams, may cause you discomfort. This is natural. It indicates that the process is working.
If you experience resistance or fear, ask yourself why, then, using the self-reflective questions at the end of each activity, determine what you will do about it. Or you may want to set the course aside for a few hours or days, and do something different. Most importantly, welcome your feelings and this opportunity to know yourself better. Self-awarenessawareness of your thoughts and feelings and all they expressis the first essential step toward overcoming inhibiting limitations.
Begin by reading through the Empowering Vision Course Outline, which is divided into three categories of business functions. Note the activities you need, and the category or categories in which they are included. Categories are purchased separately, using the appropriate PayPal button.
Once a category has been purchased, using the PayPal button, you can use the activities within that category in the order you feel you need them, and at the pace that is right for you. For the full value of this process, complete each activity before going on to another.
To stay current with your changes and new ideas, reuse the appropriate activities. As you continue this exploration, you and your business will continue to grow and develop.
Each of the three sections in this course begins with a general concept and ends with specific conclusions, methods or action steps. Where appropriate, a structure, such as a budget, time plan, promotion plan or bookkeeping system, is provided.
Using this question-asking process is empowering. With questions, you draw on your own ideas, self-knowledge and willingness. Remember that what is right for you may not be right for someone else. From your wisest perspective, do only what feels right for you.
Even if you delegate responsibility for the management of your business, success requires that you understand business and make decisions that result in the consequences you want. The bottom line is to gain the greatest exposure to your potential clientele, and use your resources wisely.
To be successful, you must know yourself, you must stand on honest, empowering principles, and to do everything with respect and commitment. Therefore, consider these issues carefully.

Create an agreement with yourself. Develop your business from basic values and principles. Integrity is the key to success and restful sleep.

Create a statement of policies to give to clients to read and sign. Always fulfill your role those policies.

Be on time for all business appointments. If you foresee that you will be late, let the other(s) know as soon as possible.

Do what you say. Make telephone calls and send emails and letters when you say you will. Maintain relationships with the people important to your success.

Complete all projects on time. If you know you will be delayed, let the other(s) involved know as soon as possible. If you change your mind, let others know immediately.

Respond to all referrals within seven days. This will keep your business alive and growing.

Communicate openly and honestly. Express relevant thoughts, ideas, feelings and concerns.

Create your your Agreement and print on your letterhead, sign it, and ask the person you think most believes in you to be your witness. Read it from time to time. And use it with those who are key to the success of your business, especially those with whom you have contractual arrangements. Some people may feel uncomfortable with this commitment. If so, take the opportunity to discuss their misgivings, decide how you both want to respond.

Mentors. Seek support with the development and management of your business. Create a relationship with several people who agree to be your mentors. These should be people who are strong and expert in your areas of focus, and who want you to succeed. Use your Agreement together.

Before you begin answering the questions, read each activity through. Then determine the level of detail you need. Not all questions will apply to your business, so answer only those that do, using complete thoughts and sentences. Organize your answers in a binder, folder or computer.

A Glossary is included in the Appendix to define unknown terms. You may read about new concepts and definitions that differ from yours. Be open. Consider them, and if they fit, use them. If not, just proceed.

Be neat. Your plans are living documents.

Worksheets. Make copies of the appropriate worksheets, and maintain an original for future needs.

Self-reflection. Be open and honest. If you experience fear, resistance and limitation, or feel stuck, evaluate your issue from every perspective. Determine the source of your issue and resolve it before you move on. Whatever your issues while doing an activity, you will surely experience them while doing your business. And they will interfere, costing precious time, energy, money and reputation.

Future planning. Many activities in this course will be useful for future planning. Use completed activities to think through a new idea, plan a new program, redesign a current one, or create a new system or strategy. They're also great just to stir things up and see what happens!

Above all, remember that business is fun, exciting, and just about the best way to become secure and confident. When you carefully think through your plan, then you are free to do as you choose, so long as you respect the law and professional protocol.
