Eligibility Requirements:

To play in the final tournament in Las Vegas the player must be 21. However, the player must only be 18 or reached legal age of the majority in his/her jurisdiction (whichever is greater), to play in the online tournaments.

The player must be enrolled in at least one course in an accredited university or college to participate in the Amateur Poker College Tour. The student will be required to show his/her University I.D card at the final tournament in Las Vegas.

The University or College must have a campus and mascot. In other words, Online University students are not eligible.

How to Qualify:

I.      Online ( Free Tournaments, requires NO DOWNLOADS!)

  • Fill out the registration form.
  • An informational email will be sent to you. The email will direct you to the site where the online qualifier tournaments are held.
  • Register at the gaming site. This will allow you to create your online identity and you will then be able to begin registering for the qualifying tournaments (again, no download required!)
  • The online qualifying tournaments will be held every hour, on the hour.
  • The players who finish in the top ten percent win a seat into the next available bi-weekly tournament.
  • The players who finish in the top twenty five percent of the bi-weekly tournament win their seat at the Amateur Poker Live College Championships in Las Vegas.

II.    Local Live Events

  • Local live events are available in particular cities; the dates and locations wil be posted under the CALENDER tab of this site.
  • The live tournaments will be held in a public venue, usually a bar or restaurant.
  • At the beginning of the tournament, each college student must fill out the registration form.
    • The form will require the student to identify the university he/she attends and contact information.
    • The Amateur Poker College Tour will administer a player info card at the live event, or by email/mail.
    • Student can use this card as registration into future live events instead of completing a registration form at each event.
  • The top placers in each tournament will earn their qualification into the College Championship Tournament in Las Vegas. (Each live event may vary to some degree)
  • The top placers who qualify for the Championship Tournament can either:
    • Reserve their seat in the Championship Tournament by booking their hotel room online (an informational email will be mailed to qualifiers)
    • Reserve their seat in the Championship Tournament by booking their hotel room through an Amateur Poker College Tour Representative at the live event.
