Update 5/31/07
To all of our valued VIP Gold Members:
We concluded our first of what looks like will be many Gold Member Forums several weeks ago at Club Zodiac. We had a lot of good input and ideas, and we are now comfortable that we can move forward with the VIP Gold club. We have included a new list of benefits. We have taken some benefits away and added some others. Please keep the ideas coming as to how we can keep this club exciting!
For those of you who missed our forum, I would like to recap a bit on some of the major topics of conversation. I would also like to share with you some of the concerns Colorado Bureau of Investigation had with our VIP Gold Club. As we elaborate on what may be considered questionable benefits of our club, please consider that we cannot have any benefit that gives the appearance of a Gold Member having any kind of advantage over a non-gold member, either directly or indirectly, when it comes down to the actual poker play itself. If we keep this in mind, it will be easier for us to provide benefits that make economic sense for the company and keep us within guidelines so as not to raise concerns that this club is a “gambling operation”.
Preferred seating for Gold Members may be considered an advantage at the poker table that members pay for. The contention is that those who seat later are at a disadvantage because they sit when the blinds are higher. We believe that we have eliminated this advantage by not raising the blinds until a minimum of 20 minutes after everyone is seated.
Allowing only Gold Members the opportunity to be sponsored in buy-in poker events based on performance could be looked at as a member paying for a sponsorship opportunity. In order to eliminate this as a concern, we are now looking at ALL of our players to establish “The Amateur Poker Team” for sponsorship in these types of tournaments.
We will not be promoting any free on-line tournaments unless it is to a site that offers free tournaments only. We will not promote free on-line tournaments on site that promotes and/or offers the player an opportunity to play in pay-as-you-play games. We are looking into sites that facilitate only free opportunities to play if and when we decide to use the internet to facilitate larger qualifying free events.
We had many great ideas come out of the forum. We decided that we will have quarterly Gold Member Forums, the next one to be held on the south side of town! (Yes, we heard you southern folks!) We are developing an exclusive Gold Member Forum/Chat Room where we can share ideas and receive your valuable input. And for you golfers, we are discussing a Gold Member Invitational!

NOTICE: We will not be accepting any new VIP Gold memberships until we have fulfilled the items to be given to our existing members.
Existing members may receive their gear and merchandise in one of the four following ways:
- You may request your dealer to write down what merchandise owed to you and when you will be at that venue again so he/she can deliver those items.
- You may visit the office to pick up your merchandise by calling first for an appointment at 303-432-2047 and asking for Mike Medina. Our office is located at 9751 W 44th Ave., Ste. 110, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
- You may come to any of our monthly Hold-Em (Club Zodiac) or Omaha (Deuces) tournaments and pick up your merchandise.
- You may email Mike Medina at michaelm@aptstars.com a list of the merchandise you have not received, and he will ship it directly to you. You will have to pay the shipping cost.
Update 5/27/07
Hello fellow poker enthusiasts! We are restructuring the points system and prize award system for our VIP members. We are working diligently on upgrading our data processing capacity so that we can show point totals online so you can keep track of your points as we do! We have run into a few snags and delays in this process and we appreciate your continued patience and understanding. We are still committed to providing the most fun and exciting poker tour around, so stay tuned for more announcements to come!

Hello to our patient and valued Gold Members. We are in the final stages of fine tuning the Gold Membership Program. We thank you very much for your patience, we were trying to get this finalized by last Monday but the good ideas and suggestions keep pouring in and we want make sure that we are putting together the best club possible!
We are moving forward focusing on two key objectives: We don’t want to break any laws and, just as important, we do not want to promise benefits we can’t deliver! Our desire is to continue to offer a great, well thought out program. Stay tuned and, in the mean time, keep playing poker and having fun! Thanks again for your continued patience.

Update 5/18/07
Thanks to all who attended the Gold Member meeting at Club Zodiac. We appreciate all of the feedback and ideas that were presented.
If you have not received you Gold Member merchandise, we apologize for the delay in getting it to you. We continue to be committed to the program, and to fulfilling every order we have received as quickly as possible. In order to receive your merchandise sooner, you can come to our offices to pick your items up, or contact any lead dealer that you see on a regular basis and have them bring it to you.
Our offices are located at 9751 West 44th Avenue, Suite 108, in Wheat Ridge, and our hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Update 5/16/07
We are still in process of reviewing our VIP Gold membership program, and the associated member benefits. At this point in time we have reinstated the priority seating benefit. We will continue to add and/or reinstate benefits as we get the details worked out.
